            A joint venture by San Diego State University, University of California San Diego, U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare Command, and Orincon Technologies, Inc., funded by the U.S. Department of Defense.

            Conducted horizontal and vertical market analyses and feasibility studies for new homeland defense technologies. Identified target markets and assessed market size, share, and maturity of these markets. Conducted competitive and regulatory analyses. Identified licensees, technology partners, and federal grants for further research and development, prototyping and testing, and product development of these technologies. Developed marketing plans for the intellectual property-owners to spin in/out their innovations. Designed, developed, and distributed product brochures to promote these innovations. Identified potential end-users, contacted these end-users, and prescreened them through interviews and surveys to identify interested parties.
